In Division 5, it was a mixed afternoon for the club.
One side was unable to secure a win, while the all-Deniliquin clash saw Deniliquin White defeat Deniliquin Blue in a close contest by two shots on the home greens.
The Division 5 finals will begin next Saturday in Echuca.
Division 3 provided a positive result for Deniliquin, with the side travelling to Elmore and coming away with a hard-earned victory after a competitive match across the rinks.
In Division 1, Deniliquin faced a strong challenge away at Mathoura and were unable to match the home side in a tightly contested encounter.
There was no game for Division 2 this round.
Please note there will be no midweek pennant next week.
State singles knockout
There was more great news on the greens for the Deni Bowling Club, with even more fantastic results on Sunday.
Congratulations went to Jade Hipworth, Tyler Hillier, Andrew Holloway and Mathew Crothers, who all won their sections in the State Novice Singles and will now progress to the knockout rounds in Bendigo next Sunday.
To have all four of the Deniliquin Bowling Club players advance is an incredible achievement and a real testament to the hard work they’ve been putting in.
The club is extremely proud of them all and wish them the very best in Bendigo next weekend.
