A competitive field produced close results throughout the day, with several age divisions finishing in ties for champion honours.
The carnival delivered a strong mix of competitive racing and school spirit, with students cheering loudly for their houses throughout the program.
After the carnival, on February 27, successful competitors competed at the Zone carnival, which took place in Hay.
Millicent Hall continued her excellent form, taking out Junior Girls Champion at the zone meet.
She now advances to the Riverina Championships in Leeton on Monday, March 9, joining a solid contingent of Deni North swimmers who also qualified.
Others heading to Leeton are Connor Sampson, Ned Campbell, Lotus Gallpen‑Brown, Lainey Sampson, Grace Milliken and Ava Milliken, all of whom produced standout swims in Hay to earn their place at the regional event.
