Deniliquin Bowling Club turned red on the weekend for the Campaspe Playing Area’s bowls charity round.

The red colour is in support of the Heart Foundation, with the club also choosing to honour late club members Stuart Treble and Terry Taylor, whose dedication to the club and the wider community continues to be remembered with great respect.
The charity round was a great success, with the club raising $1,307 for the Heart Foundation.
The effort highlighted the strong sense of community at Deniliquin Bowling Club, combining competitive pennant bowls with an important cause and a heartfelt tribute to two much-missed club members.
Weekend pennant will now be in recess until January 17.

Midweek Pennant
Deniliquin Bowling Club enjoyed a successful round of midweek pennant on Tuesday, recording solid results in both Division 1 and Division 3 matches.
In Division 1 against Echuca, Deni produced mixed but competitive results.
Jo Bovell’s rink led the way with a close 18-15 win, while Mark Quor’s team followed with a solid 21-17 victory.
Paul Clear faced a tough match-up, finishing with an 8-46 result.
Division 3 also had a productive day on the greens against Rich River.
Alan Hardcastle and crew were in outstanding form, posting a commanding 39-7 win.
Bruce Clancy’s rink added a valuable 25-14 result to secure a positive overall outcome for the team.
Midweek Pennant will now take a five-week Christmas break, with competition set to resume on January 20, 2026.
