Chris Taylor, Peter Todd, Jo Bovell and Paul Clear (skip) had a strong 24-20 victory, but Mark Quor’s rink was beaten 17 shots to 23, while Steve O’Brien’s side suffered a 15-31 defeat.
It’s a much better story for Division 3 who sit undefeated at the top of the ladder after a huge 71-20 victory over Rich River.
John Murray called the shots for Wayne Bradley, Dawn McCulloch and Cheryl Bradley in their 27-9 win, while Tony Danckert’ crew including Jenny Tonta, Ken Salter and Alan Hardcastle claimed a massive 33 shot victory when they cruised home, 44 shots to 11.
