In the Campaspe playing area Division 1 weekend pennant, Deniliquin Bowling Club are currently just outside of finals in fifth place, with five wins and four losses.
Mathoura also have a team in the division and are currently in ninth place with two wins, six losses and a draw.
As the lone representatives for the region in Division 2 weekend pennant, DBC are currently in sixth place with two wins and six losses.
In Division 3, DBC’s weekend pennant side is in seventh position with three wins and seven losses.
The Division 4 weekend pennant, Deni RSL side is fifth on the ladder with six wins and four losses, while Mathoura are eighth with three wins and seven losses.
DBC has two Division 5 sides in weekend pennant, and both are performing well so far.
Deniliquin Blue is second on the ladder with nine wins and one loss this season.
Deniliquin White are just behind them in third position, with seven wins and three losses.
When weekend pennant play resumes on January 17, DBC’s Division 1, 2 and 3 sides are scheduled to all play at Tongala.
In Division 5 next weekend, DBC’s Deniliquin Blue side travel to play against Rich River, while Deniliquin White are away against Lockington.
Deni RSL resume their Division 4 season away against Moama.
Mathoura’s Division 1 travel to play Rich River, while the Division 4 side will host Rich River.
Five round remain before finals, with semi finals on February 21, preliminary finals on February 28 and the grand finals on March 7.
Midweek Pennant
In Midweek Pennant, DBC’s Division 1 side is fifth and Mathoura are one place behind in sixth but with a matching win:loss record - three wins and seven losses.
In Division 2 Deni RSL are in fourth with five wins and five losses.
In Division 3, DBC are ladder-leaders with nine wins and one loss.
Midweek Pennant returns on Tuesday, January 20.
DBC’s Division 1 side resume with a home game against Rich River, and Division 3 will be away to Echuca.
The RSL team takes on Rich River on their Echuca greens, and Mathoura’s Division 1 are on the road to Stanhope.
There are four more rounds to be played before finals, with semi finals on February 24, preliminary finals on March 3 and the grand finals on March 10.
