He claimed the medal with a net 68 from B-grade winner Jamie Loy.
A-grade runner-up was Graeme Willoughby net 73 and B-grade runner-up Jack McGrillen net 69.
Youngster Harvey Campbell claimed the C-grade trophy with net 69 from runner-up Marg Radeski net 70.
Last Thursday was also a stroke event, won by Fiona Milward with net 74 from runner-up Felicity McCalman net 75.
On Tuesday, it was a 9-hole mystery stroke event, won by Vicky Seely with 34 net, from runner-up Jill Barnett 35.5.
There were three grades in Wednesday’s stableford event.
A-grade winner was Ross Pogonoski with 37 points from runner-up Chris Mitsch 35, B-grade winner Jayne Hood 36 from runner-up Sarah Aitken 36, and C-grade winner Greg Collins with 37 points from runner-up Michael Atley 33.
Coming up we have a busy weekend with a stableford event tomorrow, then the Golf NSW mixed 2-person 9-hole ambrose on Sunday, with 11am shotgun start.
The top 12 qualifiers in the state in each category play off in conjunction with the NSW Open.

Next Tuesday’s 9-hole competition is a fourball aggregate, Wednesday is stableford, Thursday is stroke and next Saturday is versus par.
Golfers are reminded to be aware of the wet conditions and share golf carts wherever possible to limit damage on the course.
Also ensure you keep carts away from wet sections.
In the clubhouse, the Flagstick Bistro continues to provide excellent meals at a reasonable price.
Winter trading hours are Wednesday to Sunday, with lunch from 11am to 2.30pm and dinner from 5pm to 8.30pm. Function bookings are also welcome, and make sure you check out the new menu.
