Junior golf at the club is going through a resurgence, with many youngsters honing their game over the holiday period.
This year an opportunity will be provided for junior girls in the region to learn golf, after the club secured a grant from the Australian Golf Foundation.
It will involve 24 coaching sessions of one-hour duration throughout the year, led by PGA professional Jody Fleming, with support from club members.
As well as the opportunity to learn the game, participants will also get a year’s free golf club membership. It is open to girls aged nine to 17 and registrations close February 13.
Contact the club for more information and registration details.
