Touch rugby, a sport that dominated Shepparton’s midweek social sporting scene some 15 years ago, is burgeoning back to life thanks to a condensed competition ran by Shepparton Touch Association.
Hot-steppers and try getters have been getting their goose step on during the eight week burst, and on Friday night, the action reached a fever pitch.
A double header round saw 10 games contested by 10 teams with flashy skills and even flashier names - such as Red Hot Chilli Steppers, No Try No Cry and Dis’n Dat.
