It warms up this week with a medley stroke for the men’s monthly medal on tomorrow, followed by 9 holes stroke on Tuesday, then stableford on Wednesday and Thursday.
The action hots up next weekend when the club hosts the Western Riverina District Golf Association Championships on October 11 and 12.
Saturday will be men’s and ladies’ fourball best ball, and Sunday will be men’s and ladies’ stroke.

This is quickly followed by Veterans Week of Golf, which starts with registration from 4pm on Sunday, October 12.
It will be followed by fourball best ball on the Monday, with 18 hole stableford on Tuesday and Thursday, including a 36 hole event over both days.
Friday will be stableford for NSW VGA Trophy Day.

Deniliquin Golf Club will host its annual Pro-Am as part of the PGA Legends Tour for the third consecutive year, on Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28.
On the Monday, the PGA Seniors NSW Open Pre-Qualifier is a key event on the PGA Legends Tour, providing professional golfers aged 50 and over with a chance to earn a spot in the prestigious NSW Seniors Open.
In the Pro-Am on the Tuesday, three amateur players team up for a 3-person ambrose competition, while their paired PGA Professional plays a traditional stroke round.
This offers a fun and competitive day on the course for both amateurs and professionals.

This year’s Spring Classic will be played on Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9, in the usual fourball best ball format for men and ladies.

So there will be no shortage of top golf on the course over the next five weeks.
In results for the past week, Thursday was 6x6x6 stableford, won by Denise Hunter, Anita Gorsuch and Ann Bull with 74 points, on countback to Marg Menadue, Jan Lord and Leanne Landy.
Unfortunately, no Saturday results were available at the time of writing.
The Pickers Cup was played as part of a Canadian Foursomes on Sunday, with the cup won by Andrew and Vicki Brunker with 72.12.
Winners overall were Vince Kelly and Catherine King 70.12, with the Brunkers as runners-up.
There were three grades in Wednesday’s stableford event.
A-grade winner was Frank Conallin with 39 points from runner-up Thomas Bult 35, B-grade Norm Purtill 39 from runner-up Bob Landy 38, and the best scores were in C-grade, won by Jayne Hood on 41 points from runner-up John Metcalfe 40.
Members and guests are advised there will be no raffles or meals tonight, due to Ute Muster commitments. Friday Night Fun will resume next week.
