If so, Goulburn Valley sporting organisations are encouraged to throw an arm up for the latest round of grants delivered by the Victorian Government.
A total of four funding streams can be accessed through the Sporting Club Grants Program, ranging from payments of $750 up to $5,000.
Financial backing in the latter category is available for clubs seeking to improve the knowledge and skills of coaches, officials and volunteers, while grants of $4,000 are up for grabs to help clubs roll out new programs to the community.
Clubs can also cash in to the tune of $1,000 to purchase new uniforms and equipment, while pay outs of $750 for travel are also available through the funding stream.
Community Sport Minister Ros Spence was glad to announce that applications had opened for the Sporting Club Grants Program’s latest round.
“Sports clubs and their participants are the heart of local communities,” Spence said.
“This investment will open up a range of opportunities on and off the field, ensuring clubs have the equipment and skills they need into the future.”
To apply, register before the closing date of November 26 on the Victorian Goverment’s website https://sport.vic.gov.au/funding/sporting-club-grants-program.
