Following a successful and exciting final series in 2023, the Heathcote District Football Netball League board is excited to have season 2024 get under way, with less than five weeks until round one.
With the first weekend of action fast approaching, the HDFNL has announced the board structure for the 2024 season.
Claire Lowe has been appointed chair following the departure of Peter Cole following season 2023.
A life member of both the Heathcote District Netball Association and Heathcote District Football Netball League, Claire has been on the inaugural joint football and netball board since they joined.
Claire has also spent her life playing, coaching, umpiring, and administrating in the HDFNL and has a clear vision of where to next for the league.
Rodney Stephens will operate as the vice-chair, with Vicki Gellatly as treasurer.
Tina Prout, Colin Bacon, Terry French and Andrew Conforti will also sit on the board for the 2024 season as general members.
The HDFNL season gets under way on April 6, headlined by a senior football grand final rematch between Mount Pleasant and Heathcote, while Lockington-Bamawm United will take on Leitchville-Gunbower.
