At the meeting, Radeski was re-appointed as Club Captain, a position he has held since 2020.
The life membership was recognition not only for his contribution as captain, but as a board member, initially from 2009 to 2013, and as a club member for more than 30 years.
As captain, Radeski has presented a full event calendar for members and visitors, has proactively supported the transition to gender neutral golf events and worked with surrounding clubs to develop the Pennant Challenge Cup.
He has also been to the forefront in introducing and modernising computerised scoring and recording of results.
Apart from his formal roles, Radeski was described as “a good clubman” who:
•Is a reliable and valued volunteer who supports the outdoor staff by mowing the fairways when requested by the course superintendent, and helps with coring of greens.
•Volunteers behind the bar, helps with function set-up and is a ‘fix it man’ around the clubhouse when needed, even at short notice.
The annual general meeting unanimously endorsed the life membership nomination.
