Deniliquin’s Diego Sztejman has struck up a mutually beneficial relationship with Spanish top flight club Levante UD, based in Valencia.
It’s the club where Australian Socceroos goalkeeper Mat Ryan is currently plying his trade.
The partnership offers local juniors affiliated with Sztejman’s Strike Force Soccer Academy (SFSA) or Pro Soccer Australia (PSA) the opportunity of international training, potential to be scouted to Levante in the future, and access to new prospects for tryouts and football exchange programs at all ages.
The Spanish soccer club’s academy connection is the first ever officially launched in Australia.
The club Levante UD said it is excited to establish a relationship with Deniliquin soccer players.
“Levante UD proudly represents the spirit of Valencia and the tradition of Spanish football,” a Levante club spokesperson said.
“With a long history in LaLiga, the club has developed a strong identity based on passion, perseverance, and community.
“Today, Levante UD is taking that identity to the world through its international development programs.
“By sharing its methodology, culture, and values, the club seeks to inspire young players in every corner of the globe.
“The launch of activities in Australia with PSA and SFSA marks a new step in building bridges through football and creating opportunities for the future.”
