They recorded 46 points to win on countback to Jane Glowrey and Jane Armytage, with Troy Grant and Fiona Milward a shot away in third place.
Last Thursday was a stableford event, in which the ladies played for the coveted Rita Barnes Goblet.
Marg Rothwell had an impressive 42 points to win the goblet and also was the A-grade winner from runner-up Leigh Chappell on 37.
B-grade winner was Adrian Mulham 33 points from runner-up Jane Glowrey, 32.
On Wednesday, the A-grade winner was Michael Everett with 40 points from runner-up Colin Drummond 37, and B-grade winner was Ken Maher, 37 from runner-up Peter Seely 36.
There is plenty of golf coming up over the next month.
Tomorrow is stroke and the men’s monthly medal, Tuesday is 9 holes stroke, then Wednesday and Thursday are both stableford events. Next Saturday is also stableford.
The 2025 Deniliquin Open, sponsored by Ritchies IGA, will be played on Friday and Saturday, May 16 and 17.
These are both stroke events with $35 entry fee including lunch. The Friday event will be 10am shotgun start and the Saturday event is tee booking from 10am.
A special event to put in your diary is the MND charity day on Sunday, June 1.
This fundraiser is one of the best days on the Deniliquin golfing calendar, supporting research into motor neurone disease.
Golfers and non-golfers are welcome in the four-person ambrose event; 10am shotgun start. More details in the coming weeks. Bookings will open next Monday.

Friday Night Fun returns tonight after two weeks of ‘Thursday Night Fun’, at which we welcomed many locals and visitors. Raffle tickets will be on sale from 6pm, withdraws from 7pm.
