Peppin put on a superior display, winning 26 sets to Newsagency’s 5.
Just about everyone in the Peppin team were three set winners.
In fact, 11 of the 18 players won their three sets, including three of the six ladies - Mon Gordon, Ruby Hicks and Cate Sandford.
There were also eight men who did not drop a set - Charley Eastman, Josh Leech, Brad Aitken, Hamish Baker, Anish Shanbag, Ben Chartres, Jack McGrillen and Rob Wettenhall.

The big servers were able to take advantage, winning plenty of first serve points when they could consistently land the ball in the service court.
It was a much closer match when Mitre 10 were the winners over Legal Eagles.
Mitre 10 won 17 sets 144 games against Legal Eagles 14 sets and 122 games.
Of the seven tie-break sets played, Mitre 10 won four.
Only a few players proved capable of winning their three sets, with Georgia Denny and Rowan Frazer for Mitre 10 and Edward Bliss for the Eagles.
Mitre 10 led the match by one set 5-4 after the first round of sets and the second rounds were shared six sets each.
Mitre 10 drew away in the last round, winning it 6-4 and so finally winners by three sets.

Club members have been asked to volunteer over the four days of the Western Riverina Tennis Championships, which are over Easter – Good Friday to Easter Monday.
Dean Irwin and John Henderson will manage the event from the office, and the canteen provides a lunch menu all day to the 250 players who nominate for the knock-out and round robin events.
