This includes a six point win against highly touted rivals Finley in the Good Friday twilight match.
The Rams now sit top of the ladder with two wins, having played one more match than most of the competition.
The senior Rams will be looking to continue this form when the club plays hosts Nathalia tomorrow.
Coach John Fitzpatrick said he was rapt with the team’s performance last Friday.
“It was a really good win by the boys.
“Mick Barnett, the captain, stood up across halfback with some great intercept marks.
“Our midfield - Logan Leiper, Miller Fitzpatrick, Will Henderson and Ben East - gave us first use which was really important and Brock Redden took a few really strong contested marks for us up forward.
“But once again it was a huge effort by the whole team.
“We had young players stand up and a bit like last week we were down but just burrowed in and worked hard to get the result.”
Fitzpatrick said the focus will now be on how to keep the good form going.
“We talked about it at training, but last week is done now.
“It is a bit of a football cliché, but we’ll take it one week at a time.
“Every week we turn up to put out the best performance that we can on the park.
“The boys celebrated the win well over the weekend, which is great, but that is over now, and we focus on turning up this weekend and playing well.”
For this week’s match-up against Nathalia - who lost their first match against Tongala - Fitzpatrick said a winning performance starts in the midfield engine room.
“Nathalia has Brodie Ross, a big dominant ruckman, so Ben East and Aydan ‘Snowy’ Matthews will have their work cut out for them.
“But I think our biggest strength is our midfield.
“We’ll back ourselves with that, and hopefully keep that going again this week.”
