The Deni Rams fourths have made it to the penultimate round of finals via a second chance after their 57 point semi final loss to Cobram last Saturday at Echuca.
The club’s other finals hopefuls were the under-17s netball side and the thirds footballers.
The netballers went down by two goals against Tongala in the elimination semi-finals last weekend.
The thirds lost to Mulwala and were also eliminated.
The fourths earned the second-chance after finishing second on the ladder at the end of the home and away season, winning 17 games while only taking one loss.
They are now one win away from the Murray League grand final to face Cobram, but standing in their path tomorrow is the Moama Magpies.
Moama finished fifth at the end of the home and away season, having won 12 games and lost six games throughout the season.
However, the side is in form, on a five game win streak since they last played Deniliquin.
They won an elimination final against fourth placed Mulwala and a semi final against third placed Nathalia en route to their preliminary final match against the Rams.
In the previous two encounters between the two teams this season, the Rams won both.
The first was in round 10 by 24 points at Moama, and the most recent clash was in round 15 at Deniliquin by 29 points.
The Rams Football & Netball Club have encouraged all supporters and any interested onlookers to head to Nathalia to pack the sidelines with blue and gold and get behind the boys with a grand final spot up for grabs.
The match is the first game at Nathalia tomorrow, and is expected to start from 9.15am.
