Coming off a two goal win against Congupna last week, the undefeated Rams will be feeling confident going into Saturday’s game.
But seniors coach Ash Morris said Numurkah will certainly put up a good challenge for the side.
“Numurkah are in really good form,” said Morris.
“They won three in a row before pushing undefeated Tongala all the way last week.”
Numurkah fought hard in round five against Tongala in a very low scoring game, only losing by a three goal deficit in the end.
Rams will most likely be suffering the loss of midfielder Reid Crowe for the remainder of the season, and have a couple of others out for different reasons this week.
Players stepping up to take thier place will include Brett MacDonald and Jack Tyndall.
“We are yet to find out the extent of Crowe’s knee injury, however signs are suggesting he has ruptured his ACL and is likely to be out for the rest of the season,” said Morris.
Morris said Rams will be looking to improve defensively this weekend.
“Numurkah are a talented young side, who will hurt us if we aren't able to stop their run.”
