The Rhinos were again composed of a side of youth mixed with experience, facing an undefeated Barooga side.
Barooga won the toss and elected to bat.
The Rhinos made a good start to their fielding innings, with Prem Muppidi removing Barooga opener Jamie Stanyer without scoring.
The next few wickets were harder to achieve.
The other opener, Ethan Bovalina, was out for 24 caught by wicket keeper Lachlan Marshall off the bowling of Darcy Finn.
Ben Lucas, at number three, top scored for Barooga with 37, out from the same mode of dismissal as Bovalina off Finn’s bowling.
Archie Beehag had Barooga’s number four Lachlan Sutton out for 29, caught thanks to the fielding of senior debutants Henry Knox and Aaron Bamber-Read.
Beehag was then active in the field, catching Nate Leith for 10 off the bowling of Henry Pisasale.
Barooga captain Sam Leigh was out for 13, caught by Beehag off the bowling of Senaka Lakmal.
Lakmal then had Alfie Lewis-Frost out for eight, caught by Charlie McCallum.
Pisasale was back in the wickets, getting Riley Adams without scoring, caught behind by Marshall.
McCallum then got the wicket of Alex Krause for three, caught by Lakmal.
Muppidi finished off the tail, getting Charlie Noonan bowled without scoring, while James Hooper remained on 12 not out.
This saw the Rhinos bowl Barooga all out for 150 from 38.2 overs.
The Rhinos had six wicket takers including Muppidi (2/11), Pisasale (2/13), Lakmal (2/26), Finn (2/26), Beehag (1/12) and McCallum (1/20).
Keeping Barooga to a manageable target, the Rhinos set out to chase down the total.
Opening the batting, Chris Pyle top scored with 41 before he was caught down the ground off the bowling of Leith.
Only one other Rhino managed to reach double figures, with Charlie McCallum on 26 not out.
When the Rhinos built a partnership, the target looked manageable, but with wickets falling at regular intervals, the Rhinos finished 104 all out from 36 overs.
Leith was the primary wicket taker for Barooga, getting a fifer with 5/12 from six overs.
