The A-grade side scraped into the finals in fourth place and face ladder leaders Cobram from 12.30pm tomorrow in a rematch of last round.
Again, hosted at Cobram the Rhinos will be out to produce a different result to the seven-wicket loss from the last fortnight.
In that match, the Rhinos made 7/209 from their 80 overs on the first day.
Andrew Hogan was the top scorer with 79 not out from 164 balls while Cobram’s main wicket taker was Adam DeCicco taking 3/57.
In Cobram’s innings, the hosts put the Rhinos to the sword, with Hugh Hyde making 122 from 189 balls and Shaun Downie making 60 from 102 balls to help Cobram pass the total in 60 overs.
Rory Bartlett had the best bowling figures for the Rhinos with 2/35.
Cobram continued to bat for 20 overs, which saw DeCicco make 108 not out from 130 balls, keeping the Rhinos’ fielders out in the heat.
This is also a grand final rematch of last year, and the Rhinos will be aiming to prove they can beat Cobram in the two-day format without too many expectations against the hot favourites.
The semi-final will take place across tomorrow and Sunday.
The winner will make it to the grand final at Cobram next week and play the winner of the other semi-final, which sees Barooga against hosts Nathalia.
The other Rhinos side in the finals is the under-15s, who qualified by finishing third on the ladder.
They take on second placed Barooga at Barooga for a spot in the under-15s grand final next week.
Barooga are quite a formidable challenge and have finished second despite not losing a match all season due to multiple abandoned matches.
The under-15s matches will also be taking place tomorrow and Sunday but from 8.30am.
The winner will progress to play the winner of Tocumwal versus Cobram.
