Winning the toss the Rhinos batted first.
Against a tight Nathalia bowling attack the Rhinos lost a few early wickets to be in some strife.
At the end of the third over, opener Hamish Baker was dismissed for three off the bowling of Dylan Cunningham caught by Zander Quinn to have the Rhinos 1/11.
In was then the young Zander who struck in consecutive overs starting the next over, removing other opener Lachlan Holloway for six caught by Scotty Morris.

Deshapriya then came on and took two wickets in his first two overs.
