Rochester is champion of the Goulburn Murray Cricket under-13 competition, defeating Kyabram Fire Brigade by 58 runs at Moama Recreation Reserve on Sunday, February 25.
Rochester elected to bat first and had contributions come throughout the order.
Makore Dickinson (50 retired not out) started things out right at the top of the order, while fellow opener Asher Rasmussen (34) provided good support.
Judd Cuttriss, Hugh Acocks and Wil Hayler each added 27 runs, with Cuttriss and Hayler remaining not out in an innings that ended with Rochester 7-222.
Aiden Greiner (2-24) and Max Gould (1-15) each took wickets, while there were four run outs executed by Fire Brigade.
In response, only two batsmen made double figures for the Flames. Billy Isaac (77 not out) and Greiner (26 not out) each retired not out before returning later in the innings after their teammates were dismissed.
In the end, Fire Brigade made only 164 from its 32 overs, with Maddox Parker (2-20) taking two wickets for Rochester.
In the under-17 decider, a brave Bamawm-Lockington United side battled hard, but ultimately fell to Moama by 69 runs.
