The Deniliquin Rovers Football & Netball Club’s netball teams have announced coaches for each of their teams, ready to improve again in the 2025 season.

Following a strong 2024 Rovers netball co-ordinator Nicky Bermingham said the netballers are focused on building on what they’ve done over several seasons.
“The netball side of the club is focused on continuing to build on the success we've had not just last year, but over several previous seasons.
“Our goal is to make a deep run into the finals once again.
“With new coaches on board and the added motivation of striving for a home grand final, both players and coaches are already fully committed and ready to give it their all.”
2023 premiership-winning coach Carissa Bulmer has been announced as the Rovers’ A-grade coach for 2025 returning to the role as senior coach to continue the success of previous seasons as an experienced player herself.
She has been a part of the side that finished second on the ladder in the 2024 season and took out the Grand Final against Katunga 30 to 27.
For the B-grade side, Tim Van Lieshout has been announced as coach, he was with the senior netball squads last season.
The B-grade side were also dominant with a premiership triumph as they finished with only one loss at the top of the ladder before winning the final game of the season 30 to 21 against Strathmerton.
This year, Bec Fitzpatrick is set to coach the C-grade and C-Reserve netball squad for the Deni Rovers.
Fitzpatrick brings a wealth of experience to the role and is ready to help the two C-grade sides which both finished at the top of the ladder bounce back after Preliminary and Grand Final defeats.
For the junior netball sides Chloe Way will coach the under-17s after coaching the under-13s to a premiership, she is set to guide the oldest junior team set to build on a fifth place ladder finish and elimination final defeat last year.
Another player who is helping coach the up-and-coming stars of the Deni Rovers netball sides is Britt Kirby ready to take the under-15s, another side that finished top-of-the-ladder and found premiership success, winning 31 to 28 over Tungamah.
A brand-new coach at Rovers the under-13s will be watched over by Lauren Coates who brings strong coaching capabilities from Sydney to a team that also finished top-of-the-ladder and won the Grand Final 29 to 13 over Tocumwal.
In the under-11s, the pairing of coaches Britt Edwards and Brock Hunter will be watching over the development of the club’s youngest netballers and future super Rovers netball players.
The Rovers’ netball preseason is under way for another two weeks before netball try-outs start following the fortnight of training.
