The annual day of football fun was held at the end of Term 2, with students from Blighty, Mayrung and Conargo schools coming together to develop AFL skills and foster school spirit.
Students enjoyed an energetic and engaging morning of AFL skill-building, run by the team from Skillzone.
The fun continued as everyone dressed in their favourite footy colours, creating a vibrant and spirited atmosphere.
A delicious lunch was generously donated and prepared by the Blighty Football & Netball Club, Jane Crowhurst, and Maree Hovenden.
A special thank you goes to Rhys Tremble of Rhys Tremble Concreting and Engineering for sponsoring Skillzone and making the morning's AFL sessions possible.
Blighty Public School also extended its gratitude to the Blighty Football Club for access to their excellent facilities.
And of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without a visit from Gilbert Bain himself, who had the honour of presenting the shield to Blighty.
It was a day filled with fun, learning, and community spirit - an unforgettable way to wrap up the term.
