Table tennis tournament
Deniliquin will host a major table tennis event this weekend, with top players from across NSW and Victoria set to compete in a two‑day tournament at the Deniliquin Regional Sports and Entertainment Centre.
The event, part of the State Tournament Circuit, will run from September 19–20, from 9am to 5pm each day. Entry for spectators is free.
Organisers say 89 entries have already been received, including some of the country’s leading players.
The program will feature graded events, singles, mixed doubles and gender doubles, along with three special junior competitions.
The tournament is being coordinated by Table Tennis Victoria in partnership with Deniliquin Table Tennis, and promises fast-paced action and a chance for locals to see elite players up close.
Spectators are encouraged to come along, enjoy the atmosphere and support the visiting competitors. More details are available at tabletennisvic.org.au/tournaments/.
