Section 1 saw Holahan Family open their 2026 campaign in impressive fashion, securing a dominant 8–2 sets victory over JZ Contracting.
Three set winners were Hugo McGrillen, Charlie Eastman, and Reece King, all representing Holahan Family and showcasing great early-season form.
East Loddon (6 sets) def. Uncle Mavis (4 sets) in a thrilling contest from start to finish, with East Loddon edging out Uncle Mavis by just three games, 38–35.
A close doubles battle saw George Pisasale and Inke Leech defeat Lenny Hanns and Amelia Webber in a tightly fought tie-break, providing one of the highlights of the morning.

Several Hot Shots reserves stepped up this week and played good tennis at the higher Section 1 level, some playing matches for the first time.
