Tough conditions for shooters

The weather was not on the side of those taking part in the Deniliquin Field & Game monthly shoot on Sunday.

It was raining on and off and blowing a gale, but 22 shooters still braved the day.

The clays were flying better than usual after some well needed maintenance on the traps, by Dean Edge.

The flash for cash did not go off, so the prize money grows.

Results from Sunday’s shoot are as follows:

Highgun - Chris Thompson.

AA-grade - Ryan Wharton, 1; Tim Lardner, 2.

A-grade - Joe Beer, 1; Brock Ezard, 2.

B-grade - Steven Dempsey, 1.

C-grade - John Allitt, 1; Rod Bucholtz, 2.

Ladies - Jami Thompson, 1; Kelsey Robinson, 2.

Veterans - Tony Connel, 1; Doug Frankling, 2.

Juniors - Grace O’Connor, 1.
