After a slow start to the season, Division 1 claimed a narrow two shot win against Rochester, and climbed into fourth place on the ladder, and they now have the opportunity to consolidate that position when they play fifth-placed Mathoura on Tuesday.
Paul Clear’s rink was defeated 12-24, while the team of Lindsay Franklin, Linda Harris, John Flisher and Tony Tonta (skip) got home, 20 shots to 16.
Conway Bovell led his side including Ken Salter, Steve King and Paul Snare to a very comfortable 25-15 win, making sure of the overall victory, 57 shots to 55.
Div 3 remain undefeated at the top of the table after they demolished Elmore, 52 shots to 29.
Joy McArthur, Dawn McCulloch, Wayne Bradley and John Murray (skip) did well in their 23-17 victory, and Alan Hardcastle’s crew went even better when they cruised home, 29 shots to 12.
