The latest international Rhino is Chris Van Os, who is from Wales.
Currently, he is plying his cricketing trade with Miskin Manor Cricket Club’s first XI, which competes in the South East Wales Cricket League Division One that plays around Cardiff.
Competing in the 50 over competition since May, Van Os has opened the batting in six matches, scoring a century high score of 106 not out as well as three other half centuries, top scoring for his side in each of those four matches.
The Rhinos said he is potentially an all-rounder, also taking wickets for Miskin Manor bowling off-spin.
With previous cricketing experience in Australia at Numurkah, the Rhinos believe he will settle well in Deniliquin.
Another added bonus is that Van Os comes from a family of grounds people, with experience preparing and maintaining pitches.
The Rhinos had two English cricketers in the previous season, during which both the A-grade and C-grade sides made grand finals.
