Deni came out firing early, dominating the first half before Echuca mounted a third-quarter fightback.
We were able to fight hard and steady in the last to seal the win.
A strong all-round effort that builds momentum heading into next week’s clash against another top six opponent in Tongala.

Coming into round seven, we came up against Echuca United.
The Rams fourths knew it was going to be a battle and a hard fought game after having two weeks off.
The Rams were looking for consistency to play a four-quarter effort.
The first half saw the Rams applying heaps of pressure.
They were spreading from the contest using hands, linking up from half back and hitting crucial kicks in the middle of the ground.
This resulted in the Rams consistently controlling possession, adding to the scoreboard whilst maintaining the pressure with tackles.
The game was played in great spirits and a strong team performance to have the Rams get over the line.
The young Rams were mixed around in all areas. Seeing each player given a chance to shine and showcase their skills.
It was great to see our young debutant Henry Pisasale kick his first goal, along with Lachie Macdonald, Jaxon Rothe and Rocky Sztejman.

Under-12s:
Under-12s hosted Echuca Bombers Green at home under lights in round four of the Goulburn Murray Junior League.
Rams started strongly, with Charlie Eastman in forward pocket slotting the opening goal of the match for the second consecutive week.
The Rams enjoyed a two-goal lead at quarter time and kept the Bombers scoreless coming into the main break.
Will Crossley was one of the standouts, taking several brilliant contested marks.
Ned Wettenhall provided drive through the midfield and added the second goal of the game.
Bottom-age players William Rathbone and Harrison Leetham also caught the eye, impressing coach Rob Wettenhall with their pace and relentless tackling pressure.
The Bombers finally hit the scoreboard for a minor point in the third quarter, but the majority of the play continued to be in the Rams forward 50.
Despite some congestion around the ball, the Rams maintained their intensity and found numerous scoring opportunities to round out a strong team performance.

Under-10s:
The Rams under-10s put on a strong display in front of a big home crowd under lights on Friday night, against Echuca United Blue.
The Lambs were switched on from the very first bounce, winning the ball out of the centre and storming forward to slot a goal within the first minute of the game.
While the game is not officially scored, the Rams kicked 16 goals for the match and displayed some great passages of footy.
