With no grand final scheduled this season, the teams finishing at the top of the ladder claimed the honours, while runner-up positions were decided during the final round.
In the 6pm competition, Rally Royalty had already secured the championship before the last night of play, finishing comfortably clear at the top of the standings.
The successful family-based team featured Kerran and Matthew Howe, Koby and Jonelle Allitt and stand-in player Cathy Cohen.
The 7.30pm competition produced a much tighter finish, with three teams still in contention for top spot entering the final round.
Pickle Juice had done all they could after winning their round nine match, and then watched closely as ladder contenders Dink Donalds and Dink Delights faced off.
In the end, Dink Donalds held on to top position to secure the title.
Team members were David, Christine and Cameron Donald, Gabi Maher and stand-in Stuart Taylor.
Organisers congratulated all players who took part throughout the season and thanked volunteers and participants for helping make the competition another success as pickleball continues to grow in popularity across the district.
Attention will now turn to a new competition format, with ‘Fast Friday’ set to begin on October 16.
The four-week competition has been designed as a short-format pickleball experience, featuring teams of four players, six timed games and continuous court action.
Players can register as full teams, doubles pairs or individuals via the Deniliquin Stadium Pickleball Facebook page or online registration forms.
The local pickleball community is also preparing to host an Intertown Competition on October 18.
With 16 players already confirmed from Echuca-Moama, organisers are expecting a strong turnout for the event, which will run from 11am to 4pm at Deniliquin Stadium.
Additional pickleball sessions will be available throughout the school holiday period, with players encouraged to check the OpenSports app for upcoming opportunities.
