Benalla’s Hook In2 Hockey kids celebrated their final week with some fun hockey games and presentations, with all kids now able to continue on with Stick 2 Hockey, which resumes following a break for school holidays.

The younger group enjoyed games such as What’s the Time, Mr Hockey?, Hoctopus and Number Hockey, then thanked their coaches Sophie, Phoenix and Cata with signed certificates.
Good skill was on display by the Under 12s, who warmed up with ‘Cut the Cake’ then organised into teams for Zone Hockey.

On behalf of the group, Sophie and Charlee then thanked their coaches Finn, Rachel, William and Hayden, with individual achievement certificates awarded to all.
Benalla’s junior competition teams also had a great training session, gearing up for the start of the season on April 26.
New players of all ages are welcome, with equipment provided and the first three sessions free to come and try.
Head along to Churchill Reserve every Thursday in Term 2, with Stick to Hockey for primary school kids from 4:15 to 5:15pm, and junior competition training from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
