The Berrigan Agricultural & Horticultural Society is preparing to welcome visitors to its 126th Annual Berrigan Show on Sunday, October 4, continuing a long-standing tradition that celebrates agriculture, community spirit and family entertainment.

The show will be held at the Berrigan Sportsground, with gates opening from 6am.
Recognised as one of the district’s major community events, the annual show offers a diverse program that combines agricultural competition with family-friendly attractions.
Visitors can enjoy Sideshow Alley, a scarecrow display, and exhibitions of vintage and classic cars, machinery, motorcycles and trucks.
The day will also feature a wide range of free entertainment designed to appeal to all ages.
Families can enjoy activities within the Kidz Zone, including animal experiences, face painting and jumping castles.
Entertainment will include The Animals of The Magical Mountains, adding to the show’s strong focus on providing engaging experiences for young visitors.
As an affiliated agricultural show, the Berrigan Show continues to showcase excellence across a broad range of competition sections.

These include horses, sheep, farm and garden produce, cooking, jams and condiments, needlework, flowers, arts, creative writing, crafts, photography, jewellery, LEGO and novelty competitions.
The event also provides opportunities for exhibitors to progress through agricultural show networks and represent the region at higher levels of competition.
There will be no poultry competition this year due to the threat posed by bird flu.
With affordable admission, a lucky gate prize, extensive exhibits and entertainment for the whole family, the 2026 Berrigan Show promises another vibrant celebration of local talent, agriculture and community pride.
