Many within the community have had friends or family members touched by cancer or suffered from this horrible disease themselves.
In recent times Jodie Lovel, a member of the Lake Rowan Community was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The funds that were raised will help research pathways from the labs to patients and bring world-class clinical trials to Australian patients.
