Don’t forget tonight’s unique event when two local football clubs combine to raise funds for another community.
The fire ravaged Corryong community will be the winner of the clash between old rivals, Mathoura and Moama, at the Jack Eddy Oval in Moama.
Gates will open at 6pm and those attending are asked to make a gold coin donation.
As well as the football game there will be heaps of food and refreshments available throughout the night and plenty of activities for the kids.
Great prizes will also be up for grabs in raffles being conducted throughout the evening.
This is a great example of country people helping out their own and the clubs involved are to be congratulated

Mathoura Public School students were in the pool last Friday as they participated in the school’s annual swimming carnival.
While the older children were involved in lots of laps, the juniors enjoyed novelty events.
Moira House was successful overall while the annual teachers versus students relay race saw the teachers — Miss Joson joined by Mr Edgar and Mr McIntyre — return to the winner’s circle after last year’s crushing defeat.
Congratulations to the day’s champions: Junior Girl – Matilda; Junior Boy – Jobe; 11 years Girl Champion – Jesse, 11 years Boy – CJ; Senior Girl – Shaleah; Senior Boy – Cody.
Congratulations also go to Remi, Shaleah, Phoenix, CJ, Luke, Jobe and Matilda who have qualified to compete in Hay.
