Its president Brianna Holden thanked the volunteers and customers for the support, which she hopes to see continue.
“The Christmas hampers and puddings just walked out the door, it was a very busy period,” she said.
The new year of fundraising and community support will officially begin next week, when the auxiliary hosts its first meeting for 2023.
It will be held upstairs at the Deniliquin RSL Club from 5.30pm Wednesday, and Mrs Holden said new members are most welcome to attend.
“Any current members and new community members who would like to get involved are more than welcome to attend,” Mrs Holden said.
Over the past seven years Naponda has raised more than $194,000 to purchase much needed goods and equipment for their funding recipient the Deniliquin Hospital.
Mrs Holden said a strong volunteer base will optimise what the Naponda Hospital Auxiliary can do for the hospital, and therefore our local community.
The Naponda Shop in Cressy St is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm and on Saturday’s from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
The shop will also have a range of it’s popular hampers available for Valentine’s Day and Easter. Just call in to the shop to place and order.
