He told police that after losing control, he hit a number of potholes which cased him to leave the road and then roll.

He was able to get himself to the Deniliquin Police Station to report the incident, and police confirmed he had no major injuries.

Detective Chief Inspector Jy Brown said this is one of a number of single vehicle crashes reported in recent weeks.

“We appeal to all road users to take extra care and drive to the conditions of the road, the weather and the time of day or night you’re driving,” he said.

Trespass charge

A 31 year-old man has been arrested and charged with trespassing after breaching a ban order.

Police said the man was barred from Coles supermarket earlier this year due to an incident, which was reported to police at the time.

It’s alleged the man returned to the supermarket on Monday, after which staff notified police. He was arrested the following day.
