A collective of Campaspe groups has secured Victorian Government funding to improve long-term youth health, but the initial $600,000 will fund only engagement and mapping, not programs.
The coalition received the funding as part of VicHealth’s Partners in Place program, aimed at supporting communities to address local factors that influence health and wellbeing.
Campaspe Shire Council says the consultation will shape the coalition’s priorities, with residents asked to identify areas for long-term improvements.
The coalition includes Njernda Aboriginal Corporation, Campaspe Shire Council, Echuca Regional Health and Headspace, the Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit, Echuca College, St Joseph’s College Echuca, Echuca police, Kyabram District Health Service and Echuca East Primary School.
