The Pretty Pine Father’s Day Market and Expo once again proved a major success, attracting families from across the region for a day packed with entertainment, competition and community spirit.

Held at the Pretty Pine Recreation Reserve on Sunday, the event delivered a full program of traditional favourites and new attractions that kept visitors entertained from start to finish.
Saturday’s rain has completely disappeared, and market goers were treated to a lovely sunny day out.
One of the biggest drawcards was the Golf Anywhere mobile golf simulator, where participants tested their skills in longest drive and nearest-to-the-pin competitions throughout the day.

Returning crowd favourites included the rubber duck races, dog high jump, crosscut saw competition and the historic Harvey Trotter tug of war.
Families also enjoyed the novelty races, Rotary train rides, the petting zoo, jumping castle and the all-day working dog puppy training demonstrations by Rogue River Kelpies.
Vehicle enthusiasts were treated to a display of show vehicles and trucks, while live performances from Sing Australia and The Gents provided entertainment across the day.
A range of market stalls appealed to the shoppers, with a few heavily focused towards the men at the grounds.
The event’s famous raffle and spinning wheel were again well supported, helping round out another successful Father’s Day celebration and reinforcing the expo’s reputation as one of the district’s premier community events.
