Celebrating its 68th year, the festival recognises the enormous contribution older people make across NSW and encourages seniors to stay active, connected and inspired through a variety of engaging, free events.
Edward River Council Mayor Ashley Hall said the program offers seniors a chance to “get out, try something new and enjoy the wonderful experiences our region has to offer”.
“Our seniors are the heart of our community; they bring wisdom, joy and resilience,” Cr Hall said.
“We’re proud to celebrate them with a festival that brings our theme, ‘Live life in colour’, to life.”
This year’s program is delivered through a partnership between Edward River Council, Intereach and U3A.
