The coveted title went to Peter Abbott, of Geelong, and his unmistakable bright orange 1994 VR Holden Commodore ute known as the ‘Big Mandarin’.
Mr Abbott said the vehicle has become well known on the ute show circuit and remains a crowd favourite.
“Last year, they ran this Spirit of the Muster and we were up here for that and we'll be here for every event coming,” he said.
“Everyone knows my ute pretty much, and it is at almost every B&S. She gets around, the big orange girl.
“It needs a rebirth, but she still presents well."
The business community was also recognised, with judges unable to separate two standout displays.
