The back six worked hard to restrict Tungamah to just seven points with Kane Hall and Kaleb Wilson standouts.
Through the centre of the ground Cable Fitzpatrick, Harry Hillier and Duncan Hughes worked hard all day with Tom McCallum the pick of the forwards.
Unfortunately inconsistency of effort and a lack of man on man football continue to let the team down.
Over the next four weeks the Rams play teams in similar positions on the ladder.
These games will tell Deni how they are going and will be important in determining who will play in finals.
Final score, Deni Rams 7.12 (54) to Tungamah 1.1 (7).
In glorious conditions the Rams fourths hosted the Bears and after the week’s rest from the bye the players were keen to get back on the park.
From the first bounce the Rams had control of the game.
The Rams’ side included a number of younger players who have been training well and knocking on the door for selection and they all performed well, giving the selectors plenty to think about over the coming weeks.
Of the inclusions Blake Marshall (three goals), Riley Ives (two) and Jai Park (two) shone up forward and Wally Hughes and Jake Herberte played well across half back.
Better players in a team effort by all were Bede Orr, Harry Dudley, Riley Ives, Blake Marshall, Jai Park, Jake Herberte and Charlie Paton.
Final score, Deni Rams 27.16 (178) to Tungamah no score.

Keen to respond after their loss to Tocumwal in round six, the Roos started well with Anthony Zielke giving his onballers some silver service out of the middle.
Hayden Gardiner looked dangerous up forward and opened Deni’s account with a nice set shot finish.
Tom Blake and Will Martin mopped up everything that came their way down back winning multiple one on one contests.
Waaia hit back into the second half but a move putting Zielke at CHF and Brock Redden to the wing gave great drive and pace around the ground.
It was a hard fought game all day but it was the Roos who ran out comfortable winners.
Bottom-age players Raymond Murphy and Bailey Caruso dominated up forward with four goals each, while Kaiden Joss, Haydn Mowat and Malaki Lake also were impressive.

Alvin Cooper controlled the ruck once again, with onballer Bryce Lea also impressing.
Others among the better players for the Roos were Jackson Muldoon-Leetham, Eddie Dudley and Dom Rodgers.
Final score, Deni Rovers 16.20 (116) to Waaia no score.
