Mathoura Bowling Club’s Division One side were unable to book their spot in the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division Midweek Pennant grand final on Friday.
Mathoura only managed the one rink win in a 13 shot loss to Echuca at Rochester, 76 to 63.
The result brought an end to Mathoura’s season in the Midweek competition, however with two sides set to play in the Weekend Pennant grand finals, the club will have plenty to celebrate this week.
