In division three, Locky battled Echuca in the elimination semi after finishing fourth, but went down in all three rinks 16-73 to 0-48.
Steve Pavone came closest for Lockington going down by three shots 18-21 to Echuca’s Greg Clymo.
John Fisher also wasn’t too far off the pace, falling 17-22 to Trev Rickard, but the final rink went more comprehensively to Echuca, Tony Deenan picking up a 30-13 win over Kym Ray.
In division five, Lockington also ended the season in fourth, going down to Deniliquin White 12-40 to 2-35.
The tight overall contest saw Kalvan Stout, supported by Peter Eagan, Denise Gilmore and Les Brereton, pick up a 20-14 rink win for Lockington.
However, Lloyd Ritchie’s Deni squad had the goods in the other rink, a 26-15 result over Rodney Fielder enough to end Lockington’s season.
In division one, Echuca awaits the winner of Moama and Stanhope in the grand final.
