Deniliquin’s only representative James played a role in winning the division 2 of the GVCA versus North East District Cricket Association Challenge last Thursday, October 8 in Shepparton.
At Deniliquin on Sunday, a beautiful spring day 14 players arrived to play croquet.
Trevor David was the only player to win all three his games and won the day.
Second was Andy David and third place was shared by Rex Kernich and 96 year old Jim Jennings.
A jump shot was achieved by Alan Higgins and a hoop in one by Mario Cavallaro.
Eleven players faced an icy morning on Wednesday.
Brian Dudley was the winner for the day.
Jump shots were achieved by the following players: Brian Dudley with two, Leo Barry, Tony Bull, Brad Fawns and Jim Jennings with one each.
A hoop in one was hit by Brad Fawns.
There was no pennant last week, but they were back on the croquet court yesterday.
