In Mindweek Pennant Tuesday last week, Division 1 defeated the Moama Steamers 73-49.
This win was on Moama’s turf.
Division 3 was not so lucky, but had a close game against Tongala Red at Mathoura.
Mathoura 39 lost to Tongala Red 44.
In Weekend Pennant on Saturday, the Steamers got their own back with a win over Mathoura in Division 1.
Played at Moama, the Steamers had 63 to Mathoura’s 50.
Division 2 also played the Steamers at Moama.
Mathoura 55 lost to Moama 66.
Division 3 was on the road to Lockington, where Mathoura won 67-57.

In state bowls news, Peter Holzer and Dennis McHarry made it to the semi-final of the Men’s Pairs but were defeated by K Anderson and C Keenan, 11-14.
