From the first whistle, the Rovers took control of the game, leading 10-6 at the first break.
The team's versatility was a key factor, with strategic positional changes throughout the game leading to quick and effective attacking plays.
Gabby Barlow was a standout in the wing attack position, owning the spot with her impressive strength and drives to the circle edge.
Chloe Brown dazzled spectators with her speed and agility, and her long-range shooting accuracy consistently increased the Rovers' lead at every break.
Brown's efforts were well-supported by Abbey Wills, who brought strength and stability to the ring. Defensively, Natalie Sampson and Ella Park were relentless.
Their tireless work rate, fitness, and ability to read the play resulted in numerous turnovers, stifling Waaia's offensive efforts.
At the final whistle, the Deniliquin Rovers secured a convincing victory with a score of 46 to Waaia's 23.

The Rovers faced off against the Bombers in what was always anticipated to be a challenging encounter, and the game certainly did not disappoint.
From the first whistle, the Rovers got off to a dream start, creating numerous turnovers and leaving the Bombers momentarily shell-shocked.
Olivia Park was her reliable self, demonstrating incredible speed and tenacity. Her passing into the circle was nothing short of spectacular, consistently setting up scoring opportunities for her teammates.
Despite the strong start by the Rovers, the Bombers played tough and gradually clawed their way back into the match, turning the game into a thrilling see-saw battle.
Jackie Thorpe and Georgia McCulloch were instrumental in the Rovers' defensive efforts, working overtime to create turnovers and disrupt the Waaia attack.
Brittany Kirby was a solid presence in wing defence, applying relentless pressure that significantly hindered the Bombers’ offensive plays and bolstered the defensive duo of McCulloch and Thorpe.
Montana Muldoon-Leetham played a crucial role in the centre, bringing stability to the team's performance.
A standout moment of the game was the inclusion of young gun Bae Willis, whose speed and confidence in the ring were impressive and added a new dimension to the Rovers’ play. As the game progressed, it became clear that it would be decided in the final moments.
With the scores level and seconds to spare, a crucial turnover was executed.
Olivia Park delivered a killer pass off the post, which was then expertly converted by Bell Mcilwain into the winning goal.

The Rovers knew that this was going to be a tough contest going into the game against Waaia.
The girls got off to a strong start, going into the first break with a few goals lead.
With a couple of changes made at the break, the girls came out just as strong in the second quarter, increasing their defensive pressure, allowing them to extend their lead by the half-time break.
The Rovers were able to maintain the intensity in the third and fourth quarters, finishing up with a good win.

Despite facing adversity with a couple of the girls out with injuries and a couple more unable to play, the team made some last-minute changes to the starting positions.
Even with these challenges, the Rovers girls rallied together and proved that the team isn’t reliant on any one player. Each player stepped up and played their part to secure the win.
The win didn’t come easy though and with a slow start, it took determination and sheer fight to get the team over the line.
Mollie Leetham played her best game of the season, showcasing her leadership and drive in every quarter. Her feeds into the ring, drives down the court, and midcourt intercepts were pivotal to the victory.
Emma East stood out again in defence alongside Kelly Thorpe, who ensured that every rebound was theirs and capitalized on every intercept.
Kaila Park, Lauren Butcher, and Millie Joice made excellent use of the passes into the ring, converting almost every pass into a goal.

The girls used their speed and agility for the whole four quarters and seamlessly adjusted to the many changes throughout the game which showcased their connections and versatility on the court.
Hazel Glowrey displayed a mature calibre of netball in both midcourt and shooting roles, with her valuable skill execution and countless defensive turnovers.
Paige Brown shot and moved into the space well and was confident in her approach to the game.
Aria Taylor was strong all game in the WD role, getting numerous hands to ball and did a stellar job supporting Katelyn Vetesi for her first game in the blue and white.
Young guns Bae Willis, Sienna Elphick and Amelie Bulmer transitioned into the side this week and were instrumental in the team’s win.

A good win which was set up with a strong first quarter.
The coach set the girls some goals to achieve, as individuals and as a team, and she was not disappointed with their efforts.
There was also a focus on making sure the centre pass was converted into a successful scoring shot every time.

Another impressive round for the side.
Saturday's match was a perfect example of teamwork, displaying discipline and skills that only a cohesive team could achieve.
Honourable mention to Lilly Boyer, whose shooting percentage for the match was 100 per cent.
All the girls played phenomenally, getting hungrier for the finals series.

The girls played two intense four-quarter games, with the youngest players taking the court first and then the top age girls.
The teams showcased excellent skills and teamwork. They moved the ball efficiently down the court, resulting in numerous successful plays.
The defence was strong, with many interceptions that disrupted the opponent's offense and created opportunities for our team.
Overall, it was a great performance by the girls, demonstrating their skill and coordination on the court.
