The primary athletics carnival was a standout success, with students showing impressive sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout a full day of races, field events and friendly competition.
A special acknowledgment was given to the school’s general assistant, Ged, whose work ensured the grounds were “well prepared and picture perfect” for the event.
Younger students also had their moment to shine at the K–2 Athletics Funday, where they took part in a series of fun, active games designed to build their fundamental movement skills.
Through running, jumping, throwing and team‑based activities, students strengthened their coordination, fitness and confidence in a supportive environment.
Teachers said events like the Funday help promote healthy habits and a love of physical activity from an early age.
Families were thanked for their support, which contributed to the positive atmosphere and smooth running of the day.
Both events highlighted the strong sense of community within the school and the joy students bring to every opportunity to learn, play and grow together.
