Across tomorrow and Sunday, St Kilda Cricket Club will play a series of intra-club preseason matches at Memorial Park.
The games will be a fantastic opportunity for locals to enjoy a day at the cricket and see some high-quality skills on display.
The matches are expected to get under way from 11am tomorrow.
The Deniliquin Rhinos Cricket Club will be hosting the games, with the Deniliquin Cricket and Deniliquin Netball Association clubrooms open during play tomorrow.
The clubrooms’ bar will also be open to the public, as well as dinner available from 6pm.
The club also visited last year, playing 50 over and 20 over matches against the Melbourne Cricket Club.
Melbourne are unable to return this year due to clashing commitments.
The visit may have helped St Kilda last year, with the Saints winning the Victorian Premier Cricket mens’ first XI premiership last season on ranking, following a draw in the premiership decider against Carlton.
The now annual trip to Deniliquin gives the club a space to train when high-quality pitches in Victoria are utilised for football.
