Rosemary (Rosie) Millar

The Acting Chief Executive Officer, Dr Marco Briceno, and the staff of NT Health would like to extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Rosemary (Rosie) Millar for their loss. Mrs Millar commenced with NT Health in 1969 at Darwin’s old Myilly Point Hospital.

Mrs Millar always loved working with children and was extremely proud of her time and work with Royal Darwin Hospital. She worked with a number of significant staff such as the late Dr Alan Walker, served through Cyclone Tracy and was a well-respected and loved nurse.

At the time of retirement, she was the longest serving children’s nurse at Royal Darwin Hospital, dedicating 31 years to nursing sick and injured children.

We extend our deepest condolences to Mrs Millar’s family, friends, and former colleagues.
